Under the terms of the collaboration agreement Kottmann and Amphiro work together closely with immediate effect. Kottmann is reknown building technology and water management specialist; Amphiro is efficiency-expert for drinking water systems. With this co-operation both companies agreed to join forces in developing smart home sensors and actuators and thus to mutually strengthen this range of business.
Dr. Thomas Stiefmeier, member of Amphiro’s management board, is looking to this assignment with anticipation: “Up to now, Kottmann and Amphiro are the only two companies of the drinking water sector who actively promote the smart home issue. Amphiro´s primary strength is the water and energy saving area. Kottmann´s primary strength is the prevention of water damage and security technology. Together we can provide the full range of solutions for smart home sector and now we are going to build up a matching product program. As a result, our market leadership will be further secure.â€
