LILIN North America, the US entity of IP video provider MERIT LILIN, and HARMAN's AMX, a global provider of enterprise control and automation systems as well as audio/video switching and distributing solutions, today announced a technology partnership and driver integration that will supply mutual customers with comprehensive IP video surveillance management.
As the automation market accelerates and moves toward more convergence between the control and multi-vender hardware layers, both LILIN and AMX recognize the need to invest in next-generation video surveillance solutions that will deliver more reliable performance, ease-of-use and scale across residential, educational and commercial environments.
"This multi-faceted partnership will allow LILIN and AMX to provide IP video security solutions that increase the efficiency of the overall control and automation infrastructure," said Joe Cook, Vice President and General Manager of LILIN North America. "Our team will work closely with HARMAN's AMX team to formulate driver integration solutions that help close the gap between LILIN video surveillance hardware, including our IP cameras, decoders, NVRs and DVRs, and the AMX automation network interface, enabling simplified, flexible and efficient control of devices by eliminating incompatibilities, while reducing cost-of-ownership"
Visit AMX at HARMAN booth #176 and LILIN at booth #726 where they will be showcasing their full line of hardware and software products at this week's CEDIA Expo in Denver, September 10-13.
