Savant has partnered with a specialist in premium custom home design and patented building to support energy-efficient integration.
The smart home company joins forces with Timber Block to combine lighting, climate and energy management technologies with custom homebuilding.
As part of the collaboration, Timber Block will integrate Savant technologies like app-powered lighting controls into its Signature Home series to support wellness and circadian rhythms.
Additionally, custom climate features via the GE Smart Thermostat will give homeowners the ability to control temperature remotely using the Savant app’s scene engine and scheduling functionality.
JC Murphy, chief commercial officer at Savant, said: “Great homes today are expected to do more than inspire visually.
“They must also anticipate and serve the needs of modern living through technology.”
He added the partnership aims to create efficient homes that are “deeply responsive” to residents.
