Screen Innovations has introduced what it is calling “the first and only non-masking, masking system projection screen†during ISE 2016.
Using SI’s patent-pending telescoping frame design, Transformer transforms its frame size, rather than covering the screen surface and sacrificing viewing area. When the video source's aspect changes, the screen simply changes size on the fly (requires additional programming in existing automation) with the same look and feel of a traditional projection screen. The screen's frame size never changes—it changes aspect ratio, making it ideal for use in theatres as well as multipurpose rooms.
Transformer can be installed in less than 30 minutes and will be available in the first quarter of 2016.
