Stealth Acoustics has announced release of their latest iteration of customizable on-wall speakers for boardrooms, conference rooms, point of sale and hospitality applications. Based on technology used in their award-winning invisible speakers and acclaimed StingRay outdoor speakers, Stealth’s Image III incorporates a patented combination of 8” cone woofers and high power neodymium tweeters energizing a solid flat front radiator, which Stealth dubs “Fidelity Glasstm” , all to evenly radiate sounds from 45Hz to 18kHz in a near-hemispherical coverage pattern at outputs up to 103dB. Fully customizable, Image III may be painted or wrapped in vinyl graphics without concern, as there are no grills or openings in the speaker. The flat front radiator surface is designed to receive most finishes up to 1/16” thick and still provide rated performance. Image III has a shallow depth of only 3” making it a perfect low-profile on-wall program speaker for modern flat screens, or for systems where in-wall or in-ceiling speakers do not provide the desired aesthetic or performance outcomes. “We have seen quite an uptick in sales of our previous Image II product”. Stated Brian Azzano, sales manager at Stealth Acoustics. Yet, as displays became thinner, the need to follow suit was brought up by our dealers. Image III is a direct outgrowth of those conversations. Image III is thinner and better sounding than our previous Image speaker models”. When Image III speakers are incorporated with Stealth’s CoverArttm roll-up art flat screen masking solution, a unified display / speaker aesthetic can be created for when the system is not being used. This manner of taking speakers and screens and turning them into art is what Stealth calls “The End of Aesthetic Pollution”. “We believe that corporate entities and other professional organizations will appreciate our great sounding speakers which also blend-in perfectly with the look and feel of the space, making AV technology additive to an overall sense of architectural integration, rather than detracting from it,” added Azzano. www.stealthacoustics.com
