StormAudio brings new management team, hosts home theatre demos and integrates updated firmware at ISE 2019

StormAudio is exhibiting at ISE 2019 with a new management team and award-winning products to show visitors its immersive sound solutions.

Sharing its stand with M&K Sound, SoundAudio will show its entire range of luxury immersive audio preamp/processors and amplifiers.

There will be two separate home theatre demos throughout ISE form StormAudio. Collaborating with Alcons Audio, the two companies will replicate the active 9.1.6 set up featuring StormAudio’s 32-channel Digital AES Edition processor and an Alcons pro-ribbon loudspeaker system and will take place in 6-H150.

Teaming up with M&K Sound, the second demo will be a 9.1.4 set up featuring StormAudio’s 20-channel processor. This is taking place nearby the exhibit hall and information on how to attend the demo can be found on StormAudio’s stand.

StormAudio will also be promoting the new firmware update 3.4r2, allowing the processors to support the new Dirac Live Calibration Tool in its 2.x versions (DLCT 2.0). The new upgrade of the Dirac user-interface makes the calibration process easier and more intuitive. It can also be managed remotely from a laptop and supports a selection of languages. A phase correction algorithm for improved stereo reproduction with per speaker pair analysis is an additional development.

Other focuses at the show will be on StormAudio’s existing product range. Serving the upper-end of home cinema, StormAudio will be presenting its 16, 20 and 32-channel digital and analogue immersive audio preamplifier processors; 8 and 16-channel power amplifiers, and a 16-channel integrated immersive processor/amplifier (AVR). The processors all feature built in compatibility with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D and integrate solutions including Dirac Live Room Calibration and StormMonitoring remote web-based monitoring tool.
