LG introduced the Xbox app to its Smart TVs in over 25 countries this week, developing the home entertainment experience with its built-in platform, webOS.
Consumers across Europe and beyond can now stream gaming titles directly through the Xbox app on their LG Smart TVs.
The Xbox app requires a compatible controller to dive into gameplay with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, launching titles from the likes of Activision, Xbox Game Studios and more.
Accessible from the Gaming Portal2 and the LG Apps, the gaming platform is available on LG TVs and select smart monitors running the latest webOS 24 and newer versions.
The Xbox app will also soon be available on LG’s StanbyME portable lifestyle screens.
According to LG, this partnership with Xbox elevates gaming using the latest OLED and QNED TVs – upscaling gameplay to 4K and providing a convenient interface for a vast library of games with cloud gaming.
Additionally, Game Pass Ultimate members can stream games they already own such as NBA 2K25 and Hogwarts Legacy.
