To support remote working during the Covid-19 crisis and beyond, Zoom has unveiled its Zoom for Home software category with the launch of its Zoom for Home -DTEN ME Zoom for Home device.
Partnering with DTEN, the system is comprised of a 27-in device with three built-in wide-angle cameras for video, an eight microphone array for meetings and phone calls as well as a touch display for interactive screen sharing, whiteboarding, annotating and ideation.
The Zoom for Home – DTEN ME is compatible with all Zoom Rooms devices as well as other hardware systems offered by Neat and Poly, allowing users to mix and match the needed hardware for a variety of spaces such as living rooms and mounted displays.
The system syncs with the user’s calendar, status, meeting settings and phone for an integrated experience, with the device able to be IT-managed remotely through an admin portal or self-managed by an end user.
Logging in to a Zoom for Home compatible device with a Zoom user account allows users to access additional features without additional licenses, being compatible with all Zoom Meeting licenses including basic.
