CEDIA partners with specialist search firm to help recruit new CEO

CEDIA has revealed it is calling upon the expertise of global executive search firm, Vetted Solutions, in the search for a new global CEO.

The previous CEO, Tabatha O’Connor left the organisation at the end of 2020 after 18 years, with Giles Sutton and Kory Dickerson appointed as interim co-CEOs until a new one can be found.

Retaining the help of Vetted Solutions represents a key step in the hiring process, with the company’s track record of executive recruiting within the international association, technology, and design and build industries. It is part of Panorama, a network of partners across Europe, Australasia, Africa, and Asia that together form an exclusive alliance of independent executive search firms.

CEDIA’s board chairperson, Rob Sutherland said: “We are excited to partner with Vetted Solutions to identify a proven leader who will guide CEDIA into its next phase of strategic growth. Jim Zaniello and his team have a deep experience recruiting and placing executives from across the globe. We’re confident they’ll find an excellent leader to fill this critical position and support our members, staff, and industry.”

Those interested in applying for the role can contact Vetted Solutions directly here to express interest or request additional information. CEDIA hopes to announce a new CEO later this year.
