The winners of the 2024 CEDIA Smart Home Awards EMEA programme were announced at the Brewery venue last month in London, where over three hundred professionals joined the CEDIA association to recognise industry achievements.
Aloud AB, MACBEE and M.E.G.A. AV Installations Ltd were among the winners, walking away with three accolades each while Rako Controls Ltd received two wins and Peter Alloway took the coveted Special Recognition award.
Daryl Friedman, global president and CEO of CEDIA, said: "The EMEA awards evening was a night to remember, with industry professionals from at least thirteen countries joining us to mark the occasion.
"It’s amazing to see that the standard of work that is being completed by our members remains at a high level across the region – from Sweden to the Netherlands and India to the UK. We not only celebrated the installation work, but also highlighted the latest market-leading products and individuals who have provided invaluable volunteer efforts."
Beginning with Meridian-sponsored drinks in the King George III room, the annual black-tie event saw CEDIA chairperson Alex Capecelatro welcome attendees in the venue’s Porter Tun auditorium.
CEDIA EMEA managing director, Matt Nimmons, began the awards presentation by acknowledging key individuals in the industry before Daryl Friedman took to the stage to discuss the association’s influential work.
After a three-course dinner, the focus turned back to the integrators, manufacturers and distributors in receipt of their chosen awards. The celebrations continued with an after-dinner drinks reception sponsored by Sonos, featuring roulette wheels and blackjack tables amongst the entertainment.
The event was also supported by headline sponsor Monitor Audio, entertainment sponsor Habitech and associate sponsors Control4, LG Electronics, Lutron and Sonance.
