Lutron Electronics has introduced its cloud platform for residential lighting design, Lutron Connect, to the EMEA market.
Officially launching at ISE last week, the breakthrough platform of cloud-connected hardware and software will be made available in EMEA in the following weeks. Lutron Connect simplifies the design, commissioning and maintenance of a project, offering remote system diagnostics and over-the-air updates to help futureproof clients’ systems, making it even easier for all business partners to work with Lutron.
While Lutron Connect launching into EMEA was the company’s main focus at ISE last week, it also had an architectural lighting demo, showcasing the potential to control both the intensity and colour temperature of light to demonstrate native support for tuneable white using DALI Type-8 lighting.
This experience has so far been brought to international architects, interior designers and lighting designers during a series of Lutron’s proprietary events in 2022, but ISE was the first time Lutron showed it to AV professionals and integrators in an immersive way.
Lutron’s HomeWorks and Athena lighting control systems trigger a wealth of incremental business opportunities to connect lighting and shading control in luxury homes and also buildings, hotels, restaurants, museums and retail spaces.
The company also showcased its Palladiom Wire-Free Shading System and how its unique technology, high-end aesthetics and ultra-quiet performance creates an elegant, luxury daylight control solution. They are available as a wired, and now also as a wire-free, battery-operated system. The intelligent shades are designed to be installed without a fascia, pocket, or recess in exposed applications.
