Lutron has announced the latest addition to its Palladiom family - an exposed-rod solution that offers decorative end treatment options, including a finial co-developed with Swarovski.
Available globally, the Palladiom drapery system was developed in response to the growing popularity of soft window treatments.
According to Lutron's 2026 Luxury Residential Trend Report, 56% of designers now include automated shades in their final designs.
The new system offers a unibody design that conceals most of its automation components in the rod itself.
It expands Lutron's presence in the high-end motorised drapery segment as designers increasingly layer roller shades with decorative drapery to soften interiors and manage daylight.
Javier Segovia, vice president sales and services, UK & Europe at Lutron, said: “Palladiom drapery represents an important evolution of our window treatment portfolio.
“For the first time, designers can extend the Palladiom experience across both roller shades and drapery, creating a more cohesive approach to window treatments throughout the home.”
Engineered for both new build and renovation projects, the system is available with a range of end treatment options, including the finial, to give designers aesthetic flexibility.
Created in partnership with Swarovski, a custom-cut crystal finial is integrated into the machined aluminium “to refine geometry, proportion, and interaction with light through multiple design iterations”.
