DoorBird unveils forthcoming D31 5G video door station and new D22x intercom platform at CEDIA Expo

DoorBird is expanding its IP-based access portfolio with an upcoming video door station featuring integrated 5G connectivity, alongside the new D22x Series and its online 3D Configurator.

The upcoming D31 5G, debuting at CEDIA Expo in September, targets locations where conventional network infrastructure is difficult or expensive to install.

DoorBird says the unit is the first IP video door intercom with integrated 5G connectivity, potentially opening up new applications including remote properties, gated entrances and retrofit projects.

Also making its CEDIA debut, the D22x Series introduces a new IP video intercom platform designed for residential and commercial applications.

Additionally, DoorBird will showcase its latest A1103/04T indoor stations, featuring touchscreen interfaces and communication with DoorBird door stations.

Alongside the product launches, the company is highlighting its online 3D Configurator, which allows integrators, architects and specifiers to customise DoorBird stations by selecting layouts, finishes, modules and features.

The configurator, which offers instant visualisation, highlights how access hardware today needs to balance architectural, design and technical requirements.
