Videotree has unveiled a MiniLED 4K HDR display for outdoor applications including luxury gardens, poolside spaces, marine installations, and commercial environments.
Developed for permanent installation, the Aquiom Pro Outdoor TV combines IP66 weather protection, optical bonding and daylight viewing.
Available in a range of sizes from 32- to 100-inches, it also features a frameless glass design “for projects where both performance and appearance matter”.
Ian Rees, managing director at Videotree, said: "Outdoor spaces are no longer being treated as seasonal extras.
“Homeowners, hotels, restaurants and designers are creating exterior spaces that need to work beautifully throughout the year.
“For outdoor AV to feel truly premium, the screen has to do more than survive the weather; it has to look right within the space, deliver strong picture performance in changing light conditions, and give installers confidence that it has been designed for the job."
The British-made Aquiom Pro benefits from a MiniLED backlight system with Full Array Local Dimming, designed to deliver high contrast and controlled brightness.
Unlike conventional edge-lit displays, the MiniLED system allows more precise light control to help maintain detail in outdoor conditions.
The screen is also protected by chemically etched anti-reflective, anti-glare glass, optically bonded to the display assembly.
Optical bonding removes the air gap of conventional screens, reducing internal reflections and light loss for better legibility in daylight, with brightness delivery up to 2,500 nits.
Dual isolated 24V DC inputs provide power redundancy support for demanding projects, while HDMI, RF antenna and sealed MIL-SPEC D-Type connections support professional installation and control integration.
A Mini OLED identity display at the bottom of the TV even allows each screen to be personalised for the installation, displaying details like family or company names as well as room identifiers.
Videotree says the launch comes as demand continues to grow for outdoor entertainment spaces, garden rooms, terraces, poolside areas and hospitality settings that can be used more flexibly throughout the year.
