Smart automation specialist URC has launched Phase 2 of its Virtual Assistant, now featuring enhanced voice interaction capabilities.
Building on the successful beta launch in December, this latest phase enables URC Certified Dealers to interact with the Virtual Assistant through speech.
The Virtual Assistant, available 24/7 through URC's Dealer Portal and website, uses AI to support URC’s Total Control and Complete Control product systems. Voice interaction creates an intuitive, hands-free way for dealers to access technical information, user guides, partner manuals and videos.
The technology follows the release of an AI-powered Virtual Assistant earlier this year, designed to immediately answer technical questions from a constantly updated library. Voice support aims to enable dealers to multitask and access information with a simple voice command, perhaps while they are actively working on installations or troubleshooting on-site.
Chang K. Park, founder and CEO of URC, said: "Voice interaction adds a new dimension of accessibility for our dealers.
"This enhancement continues our commitment to delivering innovative tools that support dealers in providing exceptional smart living experiences while improving their operational efficiency."
Ron Pence, marketing lead at URC, added: "Voice interaction is part of a larger vision for AI in our product ecosystem.
“Our mission is to continuously enhance dealer support tools to empower our partners to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving market.”
