Acer has unveiled the new B250i portable LED projector with studio sound.
The compact, portable device features wireless full HD 1080p projection, auto-focus and high-quality audio fidelity. Small and easy to carry, the projector is 205 x 204 x 78mm and weighs 1450g.
Easy to set up, the projector is designed for people who need a portable device that does not sacrifice visual or audio quality.
Acer has given special focus to the sound in this device, utilising a pair of 5W chamber speakers with passive radiators featuring Waves Maxx Audio and Acer TrueHarmony technology.
Not sacrificing the picture quality, the Acer B250i supports a full HD 1080p projection that automatically auto-focuses to the surface it is projecting on. It features up to 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, and supports a wide colour gamut of 120 per cent of the Rec. 709 colour space.
Environmentally-conscious and saving costs, the B250i’s LED module delivers up to a 30,000-hour lifespan, meaning owners do not need to replace the burnt-out mercury-based lamps.
Flexible, the B250i offers both wired and wireless connectivity options. Wireless screen mirroring is available over WiFi for both Android and iOS users in addition to a standard HDMI port for connecting to and displaying content from a desktop or laptop computer.
USB Type-C (display and charging) and Type-A ports are also available, supporting video-out for both smartphones and PCs.
The projector is out-of-the-box ready, with no need for additional software to utilise screen mirroring or direct multimedia playback.
Released first in China, the projector will start at RMB 5,699 in March. It will then be released across EMEA and North America in April, starting at EUR/USD 699.
