ARCAM has updated its HDA line, adding three AVRs, three power amplifiers and an AV processor.
The AVR10 features 12 channels of class AB power amplification, with full Dirac calibration with codecs from Dolby Atmos, DTS:X 7.1.4 and IMAX Enhanced.
4K (UHD) HDMI2.0b is featured with HDCP2.2 ability, Bluetooth connectivity and seven HDMI inputs.
The AVR20 increases the numbers of channels of AB amplification to 16, also featuring Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 9.1.6 decoding and Dirac Live for room correction.
The AVR30 utilises Class G amplification, with 16 channels and Dolby, DTS and IMAX Enhanced codecs.
All new models of AVRs enable GoogleCast streaming and work with ARCAM’s MusicLife and control apps, using audiophile level DACs.
Three new power amplifiers have been added to the HDA range, with the PA410 providing four channels of power, rating at 70W each as well as a toroidal based power supply, an acoustically damped chassis and paralleled transistor output stages.
The PA240 and PA720 utilise Class G amplification, implementing multiple power supplies rather than a single supply.
The PA240 is a two channel machine that enables two 380W Class G amplification or one 790W Class G bridged mode.
The PA720 stores seven channels of Class G power, available as 7x140W, with both the PA240 and PA720 featuring balanced XLR inputs, with all of the new power amps enabling ethernet and RS232 control.
ARCAM’s 16-channel AV processor, the AV40, includes 16 pro-grade XLR outputs, 16 single-ended RCA outputs, seven HDMI inputs, three HDMI outputs; 4K (UHD) HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.2 as well as Ethernet, RS232 and IR control.
The AV40 is Bluetooth-equipped, integrating an FM/DAB/DAB+ tuner, employing the ESS 9026PRO audiophile DAC.
