Bassocontinuo replaces Classic Line 2.0 with improved performance and aesthetics

Italian equipment support manufacturer, Bassocontinuo has launched the Classic Line 2.1, replacing the previous Classic Line 2.0 as a new range of entre-level measurement-based equipment supports.

The Classic Line 2.1 is a highly versatile range with improved aesthetics and performance but affordably priced. A modular design, owners can build a bespoke equipment support specific to their needs with additional shelves added in the future to accommodate growing systems.

The range also allows owners to adjust shelf heights thanks to the use of removable leg cylinders. Five- and ten-centimetre cylinders are available separately to seamlessly adjust shelf height if needed. Shelves are 25mm thick with a load capacity from 60kg.

Featuring five models, Classic Line 2.1 features both hi-fi and AV racks, plus turntables wall shelves and power amp platforms. Customers can choose from different leg heights ranging from 90mm to 290mm. Each model comes with a five-year guarantee.

Improving on the Classic Line 2.0’s design, the Classic Line 2.1 features a ‘zero-shaking’ clamp system to add considerable stability compared to its predecessor. Classic Line 2.1 also includes a new cosmetic tie-rod cover made by Delrin, as well as a new spike design with a stabilising washer for fine-tuning.

For quality peace of mind, the Classic Line 2.1 has been fully tested by an independent laboratory in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano.

In addition to the company’s already established Cerbero Black and Iside White finishes, Bassocontinuo has added two new finishes, Walnut and Wenge, to complement Sonus faber loudspeakers. The Classic Line 2.1 legs are available in dark grey, milky white, or silver.

The Classic Line 2.1 range is available now from £440 per tier.
