Bowers & Wilkins introduce Midnight Blue Metallic finish to Signature speakers

Bowers & Wilkins has launched its 705 Signature stand-mount and 702 Signature floorstanding loudspeakers in a new Midnight Blue Metallic paint.

Along with the existing Datuk Gloss-finished 700 Series Signature models, the 705 Signature and 702 Signature feature the same combination of high-end drive unit design and carefully upgraded crossover componentry.

The new models include proprietary Bowers & Wilkins technologies, such as a decoupled Continuum cone midrange drive unit on the 702 Signature, complemented by Aerofoil-profile bass drivers. Both the 702 and 705 Signature loudspeakers also have a Carbon Dome tweeter, housed in Bowers & Wilkins iconic Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top assembly.

Finished to a high standard, the new Midnight Metallic Blue finish was inspired by the same paint offered on the iconic Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus. The 702 and 705 Signature loudspeakers are finished in seven coats of metallic-finish paint and lacquer, with bright metal trim rings around the mid/bass and midrange cones as well as bright, silver-finished tweeter grilles to further accentuate the high-quality finish on each model.

Both new models each include a Signature identity plate to their rear panels.

The 702 Signature and 705 Signature models are available this month priced at £5,500 / €6,000 and £3,000 / €3,400 respectively.
