Bird Home Automation has added new IP intercoms to its DoorBird product line with up to 18 call buttons for multi-tenant buildings.
The new models added to the portfolio feature displays and keypads for multi-tenant buildings and customised solutions with multiple bell buttons and mailboxes.
Easy to integrate, the IP intercom systems can be wired in to new and existing buildings. Additionally, apart from the network infrastructure, no additional hardware is required. DoorBird IP technology allows for easy integration and cabling.
Features in all DoorBird intercoms include an integrated video camera with a 180-degree hemispherical lens, a noise-cancelling speaker (AEC, ANR), an RDIF reader for keyless access control and backlit call buttons.
For added security, integrators can combine the intercom system with DoorBird IP indoor stations.
To aesthetically fit into a residential space, the IP indoor stations have compact housing, discreet and low-profile design, intuitive user interface and hardware keys for main functions.
DoorBird’s open API allows IP intercoms to be integrated into home and building automation systems, meaning its features can be assessed and controlled through other manufacturer’s systems and touch panels.
Mobile access allows individual tenants to receive an instant notification when a visitor rings their doorbell and they can then access the intercom system via the free DoorBird app on their smartphone or tablet.
This remote access allows residents to answer the door from anywhere in the world. It also means residents can allow access to the postman so they don’t have to miss a delivery.
