Continuing its long-standing relationship with LG Electronics, Meridian Audio has revealed that LG’s 2021 soundbar range will feature Meridian’s Horizon technology.
LG’s new soundbar line, which consists of SP11RA, SP9YA, SP8YA, SP7Y, and SPD7Y, aims to deliver even more premium audio experiences with easy connectivity, smart functionality and stylish aesthetics to complement its range of TVs.
To achieve this, Meridian’s engineers worked closely with the LG team to implement Meridian’s proprietary technologies and bespoke tuning to deliver the high sound quality LG customers have come to expect.
Meridian Horizon is an upmixing technology that provides immersive multichannel audio from two channel stereo content, regardless of listening position or location in the room. This improves the soundstage of the whole performance, increasing the ‘sweet spot’ area and stability of the centre image and delivers an overall sense of immersion for every listener.
