Performance audio brands Pro Audio Technology (PRO) and Theory Audio Design have appointed Rafael A. Nevares as president.
The company says he steps into the dual role with over 35 years of executive experience, focusing on “market-driven brand strategies, cross-functional team alignment, and customer-centric scaling”.
Nevares has previously served as president and CEO for premium audio brands including AudioQuest, Audio Research Corporation, MartinLogan, and Gold Peak’s Kinergetics Holdings (parent company of Celestion and KEF).
He said: "I am thrilled to join Theory Audio Design and Pro Audio Technology during such a pivotal era for the brands.”
Beyond his AV expertise, he’s also held senior advisory roles at firms like Quadrivio SGR Silver Economy Fund, Beaumont Governance S.A., and JC Koinon.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Nevares has domestic and international transaction experience as well as expertise in private equity and angel investment funds.
Paul Hales, CEO and founder of PRO and Theory, added that Nevares is “just the kind of no nonsense, experienced business leader we need to capitalise on the brand and product foundation we’ve established since introducing Theory a few years ago”.
