NAD launches C338 stereo amplifier

NAD Electronics has introduced the C338, a stereo integrated amplifier with built-in Chromecast support.

The C338’s Chromecast functionality facilities one-tap music streaming via iOS or Android devices running Chromecast apps.

The amplifier supports Bluetooth and incorporates an integrated moving-magnet phono stage for use with a turntable.

Furthermore the C338 has digital optical and digital coaxial inputs alongside its phono and line-level inputs, providing access to eight-channel DAC for digital sources.

A subwoofer pre-out, headphone socket and support for NAD's Remote App control interface additionally features.

Power is rated at 50 watts per channel, delivered by NAD's HybridDigital Class D amplification. The manufacturer states its HybridDigital technology offers “low power consumption,” as well as voltage regulation.

NAD’s C338 amp is now shipping worldwide.
