Nexus 21 has announced its Apex motorised TV wall mount, which is its quietest, most reliable and easiest to install yet.
The new mount has been engineered to create a purpose-built system to solve any potential challenges an installer might face with a host of versatile features to bring multiple benefits to both the installer and end user.
According to Nexus 21, the Apex is the first motorised wall mount ever created that fits completely inside the wall and has an ultra-thin installation profile of just 3/4”. Designed to move in multiple directions as well as pre-set positions, the Apex has fluid, smooth and quiet motions.
Another unique feature of the Apex is that it has IP control and feedback to allow it to be integrated with control systems.
Nexus 21’s ‘Smart Drive’ technology is integrated into the Apex mount to prevent damage or breakages when moved manually. It enables Apex to be actively aware of its position so it can recover from unexpected changes to its path and to instantly release when encountering resistance.
A simple three-step installation process allows integrators to install the Apex either in-wall or on-wall with its versatile wall box for added flexibility. Three-point adjustments can be made to fine-tune the position of the TV, correcting its position in the unlikely event of an uneven installation.
The Apex TV mount has dedicated component-mounting locations to prevent cable wear and tear and to give it a sleek aesthetic finish. It also features the proprietary COBRA Concealed Cable Management System.
Able to hold TVs from 50” to 80” and weighing up to 100lbs, the Apex has a 0.6” depth from the wall when mounted inside the wall and 4.4” when mounted on the wall. Depending on the TV’s width, the mount can swivel up to 55-degrees at a speed of 1.5” per second.
