Optoma launches eco-friendly 4K UHD projector

Projection developer Optoma has released the UHZ35 4K laser UHD home entertainment and gaming projector with external power supply, various feature upgrades and portability.

Energy-efficient

The stylish projector, currently stocked at AV retailer Richer Sounds, comes with 3500 lumens, a 500,000:1 contrast ratio and DuraCore laser light source in a smaller design than previous models. The chassis is made up of 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials with up to 30,000 hours life span in Eco Mode, cutting power consumption by up to 45% compared to other lamp-based projectors.

Fast gaming

The UHZ35 display’s input responses four times the standard refresh rate, at 240Hz in 1080p and an 60Hz at 17ms for 4K gaming. The projector provides both competitive and casual gamers an advantage with clear images at each point of action for a responsive gaming experience. Users can also benefit from flexible installation with 360° and portrait mode operation, supported by compact packaging size that allows for up to two more products per container.
