PMC and AVM have announced that they have partnered to bring the AVM30 amplifier line to the UK, following its release in Germany in 2016.
Launched to celebrate the manufacturer’s 30th anniversary, the entry-level kit incorporates a retro design across an array of amplifiers, a media player and CD playback device.
The A30 integrated amplifier features the AVM A2's direct double-mono set-up, yet has been enhanced with digital inputs and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. The V30 pre-amp also has a similar set up, but adds Bluetooth connectivity, a MM and MC phono module, an SPDIF optical and coaxial and USB inputs.
A nod to the AVM M1, M2 and M3, AVM’s M30 power amplifier offers 225 of power.
The MP30 media player was also introduced Munich High End show, featuring a built-in CD palyer, the device connect to external sound sources including network drives via DLNA and UPnP, and directly connected digital sources and streaming services such as Tidal. The MP30 lines up with the CD30, designed for red-book CD playback and offering more digital inputs.
The AVM30 amplifier range will be released in the UK this autumn.
