PEAKnx has launched a compact interface designed to operate KNX systems locally while linking them to a wider home network.
The Home Automation Server works with YOUVI visualisation, allowing routines and functions to be individually configured.
Core logic such as heating, blinds, lighting, weather stations and climate or ventilation systems can be controlled from the YOUVI mobile app or KNX touch panels.
In addition, energy flows in the home can be monitored using the respective YOUVI bridges for smart systems neoom, Fronius or SolarEdge.
The setup can be expanded at any time, offering both integrators and homeowners a flexible way to control household devices through IP or KNX.
It complements the manufacturer’s Performance Server, designed for commercial buildings and larger projects in 19-inch rack installations.

The space-saving home interface is positioned as a particularly attractive option for self-builders and homeowners wishing to install technology without visible KNX smart home components.
The Home Automation Server can easily be installed on a DIN rail, suited for building control in single-family homes and smaller projects.
It includes four DIN modules to fit into various electrical cabinets, benefiting from RAM and flash storage capacity suited to projects involving multiple end devices.
Users are free to choose their preferred end devices, spanning touch panels, tablets, Windows PCs and smartphones running iOS or Android.
The server can also integrate with Apple Home and voice control systems such as Alexa or Aragon.
Integration of sound systems such as Sonos or Revox as well as IP cameras and door stations is also supported.
As the control system operates locally via the server, users remain independent of cloud services to retain control over their building data.
