Polk Audio has released its MagniFi 2, part of the MagniFi series soundbars featuring stereo dimensional array technology.
The MagniFi 2 features HDMI and optical cables for setup to 4K or HD TVs, with an additional three HDMI 2.0 inputs. Four one-in by three-in full range drivers are included alongside two 0.75-in tweeters an included eight-in ported subwoofer.
The soundbar works with Samsung, LG, Vizio, TCL and Snoy TV remotes to control volume as well as most CEC-enabled TVs. Several pre-set EQ settings for movies, music and sports are included with a night mode to lower the bass and increase dialogue on the soundbar without touching the master volume.
Polk Audio’s voice adjust technology is included to allow users to customise voice levels and comes as a Chromecast audio-enabled device to allow users to stream content from Amazon Music HD, Apple Music, Roon, Qobuz, Spotify and Tidal by asking Google Assistant-enabled speakers.
The volume can also be changed with the option to find information about current playing music via voice commands.
The MagniFi2 can additionally be used to play music from a smartphone, tablet or other compatible device.
