The official unveiling of PoE 2.0 shades will take place at CEDIA Expo 2023 in Denver, September 7-9.
This version of PowerShades’ PoE shades arrives with new features including indoor shade size up to 19-in, quieter motors, and 13x more processing power.
These automated window shades are powered by a PoE motor and contain up to 6Nm torque capability, allowing for custom shades up to 19-in. The upgraded CPU and electronics, including 13x processing power, with ARM Cortex M7 Technology, and 10x more code space allows for enhanced features and performance.
The enhanced networking stack will enable new features such as VLAN Tagging capable and IPV6 support. A built-in web server will offer configuration of motor and limits, modification of network setting, programmable dry-contact functionality, and advanced diagnostics.
More information can be transferred on the network cable as it now comes a single, central source and customers will have the option of adding a PoE 2.0 motor to any new PowerShades indoor product. All window shades are fully customised, allowing customers to pick from a variety of fabrics, power options and styles.
PowerShades’ PoE automated shades are compatible with a range of leading home and industrial automation systems, including Amazon Alexa, BondBridge, RTI, Google Home, SmartThings, Crestron, ELAN, Control4, and URC.
