Due to exhibit next week at CEDIA’s London Tech Summit, QMotion has introduced Revolve, a simple, quiet and elegant automated curtain solution for homes and businesses.
According to the company, Revolve is the only revolving motorised drapery system available on the market for professional integration. It features pressed aluminium rods which have formed grove spirals, allowing the drapery hook to move effortlessly across the track.

Revolve’s egg-shaped ring design prevents any ‘wavering’ of the rings as they traverse along the rod minimising noise and increasing the visual appeal. The rings include a feature where a bead chain can snap in, allowing for a ‘ripple’ look with a flat panel of rod top curtain.
Simple installation is possible thanks to Revolve’s rod bracket plates, which allow for easy adjustment while the bracket arms enable the rod to snap in.
In dual applications, only one control board is required, which is housed in the Sensor Box. Motors from both rods connect directly into the Sensor Box for control and power through the single power supply. A grouping option allows users to move one curtain by pendant activation and send every other curtain in the group to that position. Revolve also includes a sensor to detect obstruction, meaning that the motor will stop if required, preventing any damage to the curtain.

The motors have four different battery options, two wall plug options, a hardwire panel and several remote control options. Revolve can also be quickly and easily integrated with popular third-party control platforms for intuitive operation.
Revolve rods are available in formed, fluted and smooth shapes. The formed rod is either manual or motorised, while the fluted and smooth rods are supplied as manually operated options. Rods can be provided in a choice of three different diameters and five different finishes.
As well as the release of Revolve, QMotion has also announced its attendance at the CEDIA London Tech Summit, taking place at the Business Design Centre on Tuesday 18 April. Visitors will get the opportunity to meet the QMotion team and find out about the company’s other motorised window treatments.
The event will see QMotion explain why it is the ‘Integrators Choice’ by demonstrating the quality of its automated window treatment products. Providing dealers with excellent customer service, the company ensures customers have confidence in their project when they specify its products with a 20-year warranty on all motors and hardware, as well as guaranteeing product delivery within three weeks.
QMotion will be showcasing its range of roman and roller blinds that have been designed for installation in new and retrofit home and office integration projects. This includes the only motorised Roller Blind System patented with a manual rise and lower operation, avoiding damage caused to typical motorised roller systems.
The company will also have its new Blind Pocket on display, a high-quality extruded aluminium box that conceals the automated QMotion blind to ensure only the fabric is visible when the blind is fully lowered. This system does not require costly interfaces to wirelessly talk to Control4 and Rako.
QMotions works closely with various control manufacturers to ensure its customers can easily integrate the products with their control platform of choice. These partnerships include Control4, Crestron, ELAN, KNX, Lutron, Rako, RTI, Savant, URC, and Vantage.
