Savant has expanded its range of shade options launched at last year’s CEDIA expo with a number of customisable motorised options.
Savant’s line of window shade offerings is growing. More bracket styles and finishes, a pocket mounting option (for a “nearly invisible” negative reveal) and low-voltage power enclosure have been added to the home automation specialist’s line of customisable window treatments.
Designed by shading company JGeiger, Savant’s specialty brackets are designed provide integrators with versatile options for dealing with different architectural requirements (e.g. window walls that meet at the corner and require a tight 90-degree angle). Brackets can be mounted forward or reverse-roll and are suited for large windows thanks to several fabric panels using multiple motors (minimising space required between each panel).
Savant also now offers J Geiger Hidden pocket mounting kits, designed to achieve a barely visible negative reveal. Kits are available with 4-in or 6-in reveal covers and are cuttable and linkable to any length.
Low-voltage power architecture allows integrators to organise up to three 5-channel power modules inside a dedicated low-voltage enclosure, allowing installers to specify only the shade power needed for each installation. Later this year Savant will add low-voltage keypad options, powered by modules designed to reside within the same enclosure.
As part its continued relationship with J Geiger, a variety of customisation is available through Savant – including blackout side channels, bottom-up roller shades and large single shades (up to 4.3m/14ft).
