Snap One has launched its latest software update for the open platform smart home security system Clare, offering several new features for increased safety and visibility.
The series of updates are active across FusionPro, the ClareOne Panel and ClareHome App, accompanied by new drivers and integrations.
FusionPro and the ClareOne Panel
The FusionPro back end now includes Account Level Trouble Conditions, allowing installers to detect potential issues such as low sensor signal, LTE disconnect and panel-offline before signing off on a job. The new FusionPro System Audit Log allows administrators to see when, what, and who has changed settings on an account.
The ClareHome App now features a rebuilt back end database infrastructure, adding redundancies to help mitigate system issues. The App also offers integrators the ability to create multiple primary users on a single account.
Clint Choate, senior director of security market at SnapOne, said: “We’ve added a number of enhancements to FusionPro and the ClareOne Panel to simultaneously improve interactions between integrator partners and end users, making the system even more attractive to both ADI and Snap One partners and end users.
“We know that security and safety is top of mind for our integrator partners and their customers, so, as a combined business, we’re committed to continuing to invest in this increasingly important product category.”
New integrator partner enhancements for the ClareOne panel include a Security API to support third party integrations. Alike to available integrations with Control4, this API allows other smart home and automation systems to use Clare as its security component.
Installers are also now able to set the ClareOne Panel to Z-Wave pairing mode from the ClareOne Panel Installer Settings menu, removing the need for connection to a local network. This is helpful in new deployments where Wi-Fi connectivity is not immediately available and makes Z-Wave pairing available for end users through the panel.
End users can now access a new Notifications Management screen on the ClareHome App, which automatically populates pre-set notifications depending on the devices available. There is a new alert for door locks when the battery threshold drops below 20%, alongside a new control tile allowing users to manually control their Z-Wave water valve from the panel.
New drivers and integrations include added support for Schlage Wi-Fi Door Locks, Alarm.com Z-Wave Water Shutoff Valve and Zooz Keypad Scene Controllers. Integrator partners can now assign scenes to Zooz keypad buttons to simplify activation from other locations in their home.
