Vivitek, a Delta brand, unveiled products including its HK2288 UHD 4K projector for home cinemas, at CES 2017.
Vivitek’s first product in its 4K home cinema projector product series, the HK2288, incorporates DLP DarkChip3 and BrilliantColour technologies to offer HDR and support and 2,000 ANSI lumens of brightness (with 50,000:1 contrast ratio). It also features a video processor supporting fluid video streaming and 12-bit programmable RGB colour adjustments and a built-in 10W speaker and audio out port.
Available in black or white, the HK2288’s lamp has a Dynamic Eco Mode ensuring it lasts up to 4,000 hours.
The manufacturer also highlighted the latest addition to its Qumi pocket projector series, the Qumi Q8 at the show. Billed as the ‘world’s smallest native 1080p projector and first native 1080p LED pocket projector,’ the Qumi Q8’s lightweight form means it can fit in a backpack and briefcase.
The Qumi Q8 can create a 120-in (diagonal) HD image, offering 1,000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 30,000:1. It features multiple connection options (including Android and iOS apps) and provides 30,000 hours of operation.
