Waterfall Audio plans first showing of transparent loudspeaker at CEDIA Expo 2025

Waterfall Audio is set to unveil its latest artisanal loudspeaker in an exclusive first showing at CEDIA Expo 2025.

The French company, known for its combination of audio and artistry, introduces the Niagara XT3 at the show on the booth of its North American Partner Distributor, Selective Design.

Fully transparent with 10mm Safety Platinum glass, the loudspeaker completes the Niagara XT series and features proprietary Jetstream damping – a technology inspired by jet engine design to deliver pristine acoustic clarity.

Cedric Aubriot, CEO and founder of Waterfall Audio, said: “The Niagara XT3 is not just a loudspeaker.

“It’s a powerful statement of craftsmanship, innovation and luxury.

“At the heart of this unique creation lies a mechanically decoupled glass horn tweeter, a true feat of engineering and artistry.

“We invite all CEDIA Expo visitors to experience the Niagara XT3’s extraordinary sound and design firsthand.”

Comprising 11 glass components, each tweeter delivers medium-high frequencies and is created with both advanced manufacturing techniques and hand assembly to reflect techniques used in luxury jewellery ateliers.

The loudspeaker is equipped with two 7-inch bass-midrange drivers and a 8-inch passive radiator to ensure natural sound reproduction across different musical registers.

Coupled with the signature horn, a premium neodymium silk dome tweeter handles high frequencies.

Meanwhile, its advanced aluminium turbine structure preserves airflow for optimal bass, enhances heat dissipation and ensures mechanical decoupling of the drivers from the glass enclosure.

The Niagara XT3 will be available in the US and Canada from September 2025.
