PSB Speakers has announced the immediate availability of its CS IR Sub, retailing at £1199.
Previewed in Denver at CEDIA Expo 2019, the CSIR SUB In-Room Passive Subwoofer is available in black and white finishes and offers several highly versatile mounting solutions.
To suit different décor and applications, the subwoofer can be used standing upright on its narrow, low profile plinth, set on its back allowing it to be tucked out of the way, behind or under furniture or wall mounted (brackets included) to maximise floor space.
Using its 10-in high-performance shallow driver, the CSIR Sub delivers deep and resonant bass.
Complementing the CSIR Sub, PSB has also released the CS 500W subwoofer amplifier, able to power up to two subwoofers simultaneously.
The CS IR has been enhanced through integrated IsoAcoustics isolators, based on the award-winning GAIA series to manage energy and provide a high level of isolation for audio speakers over the entire audio spectrum.
The isolators significantly reduce the transfer of resonant energy from the speaker to the supporting surface and prevents them from reflecting off the surface below and being conducted back up into the speaker enclosure.
