CEDIA releases white paper focusing on network security in the home

“Securing the Residential Network” is the new white paper released by CEDIA, targeting home technology integration professionals looking at securing home networks.

In-home networks are at serious risk of being hacked and CEDIA has recognised a need to identify the evolving challenges they pose. Networking technology is often referred to as “the backbone of the connected home” and frequently said to be a leading are of growth in the residential tech industry.

CEDIA has released this white paper as part of its ongoing efforts to keep members and the industry informed of emerging trends and to offer learning opportunities to address critical topics.

The organisation is also hosting four Networking Schools this year. The next event will take place April 1-3 at the Epsom HQ with additional training events offered on June 3-5 at the St Neots facility, October 7-9 in Epsom, and December 2-4 in St Neots.

The full offering of white papers is available to members on CEDIA’s website including recent releases: “An Integrators Guide to Video: Resolution”, “Quality of Light in the Home”, and “An Integrators Guide to HDR Video”.
