WyreStorm adds to 4K HDR offerings & announces Luxul partnership

WyreStorm has announced the release of its H2L Series of 4K HDR matrix switchers.

The latest additions to WyreStorm’s switcher line are available in 6x6 and 8x8 models and offer support for both 2K and 4K UHD video sources (including HDR, HDCP.2.2 and multichannel audio up to DTS:X and Dolby Atmos).

The range utilises Class B HDBaseT technology for transmission distance up to 35m (115ft) for 4K and 70m/230ft for 1080p for use in small to medium-sized residential projects using 4K UHD sources and displays.

The H2L Series incorporates the manufacturer’s QuickSync instant switching for uncompressed single frame end-to-end latency, in addition to SmartEDID technology for management of EDID signals from combined 1080p and 4K displays to tackle resolution conflicts within 2K/4K systems.

Control options include bidirectional IR pass-through for source and sink control, RS-232 support for WyreStorm Enado and other major third party control systems.

Partnership with Luxul

WyreStorm has also announced that Luxul’s line of AV series switches are now offering support for its NetworkHD AV over IP system.

WyreStorm’s NetworkHD line uses JPEG2000 and H.264 platforms for low latency or low bandwidth distribution of 2K and 4K video, audio and power for residential and commercial applications.

Luxul switches that offer support for WyreStorm NetworkHD include the AMS-2624P, AMS-1208P and AMS-4424P models.
