The next instalment of CEDIA’s UK Tech Forum tour is set to take place at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate Hotel on Wednesday 28 September.
The CEDIA team invites the home technology industry to join them and the ten event sponsors as they host a full day of education and networking.
So far this year, CEDIA has hosted three successful Tech Forum events in Bristol, London and Edinburgh. To ensure all UK installers have access to these events, CEDIA is heading to the North West for the latest Tech Forum.
Joining the association in Manchester are the ten event sponsors - Anthem, AWE, Connected Distribution, Domotz, HDAnywhere, Just Add Power, Lutron EA Ltd, Nest, RTI and WyreStorm. These Trade Supplier members will present training session that focus on a range of relevant industry topics, including 4K video matrixing, remote IT assistance, lighting controls and IoT (Internet of Things) and building blocks for home cinemas.
After the training sessions, attendees are invited to join the keynote speech, which will be hosted by Jason Girardier, Area Sales Manager or Control 4. This informative session, entitled ‘Bridging the gap between DIY and CI’ which will focus on the growing DIY Technology market and its challenges. Jason will explore how the custom install channel can leverage the opportunities of the DIY market rather than fear it. The day will conclude with CEDIA’s popular networking event.
