CEDIA has appointed Melissa Geitgey, APR as its new vice president of marketing, communication, and research.
Overseeing CEDIA’s global marketing, PR, research, and industry relations, her new role will involve Geitgey providing marketing communications through leadership, ethical counsel, and synthesises multiple business strategies to elevate the CEDIA brand and achieve business outcomes.
In previous roles, Geitgey has almost 20 years of experience in managing talent and resources for higher education, sports, professional services, and non-profit organisations.
Most recently, she was the marketing portfolio lead, Employee Benefits, for OneAmerica Enterprise Marketing and Communications, where she advised senior Employee Benefits business leaders about the top-level marketing communications strategy required to position the brand as a trusted insurance product wholesaler and industry thought leader.
