CEDIA has launched a membership structure designed to provide members with tailored benefits, planned to become effective from the 1 Jan 2025.
The set of paid-for memberships will allow integrator members to join at Starter, Professional or Premium levels.
CEDIA Starter Member
The Starter membership will provide free-of-charge access to the Introduction to the Industry course and CEDIA Cabling & Infrastructure (CIT) online training. It also includes benefits that complement those starting out, including member pricing on CEDIA training and certification, free CEDIA whitepapers and access to the new CEDIA Member app.
CEDIA Professional Member
CEDIA Professional membership includes the current benefits available to integrators, plus complementary access to CIT training and the Introduction to the Industry course for a combined £900 value. Professional members can take advantage of CEDIA’s Market Intelligence reports, access the Design and Build Toolkit, promote their business through CEDIA’s consumer campaign and display the CEDIA member logo on all marketing materials.
CEDIA Premium Membership
The Premium membership tier aims to offer a competitive edge for businesses. Members receive free, unlimited access to CEDIA’s extensive online educational content as well as early access to events and product launches. Premium members also gain priority listing in the CEDIA Find a Smart Home Professional service.
All member levels in 2025 will benefit from the CEDIA member app alongside its online academy, foundation and association consumer campaign.
‘Great value for those who want to set themselves apart’
Daryl Friedman, CEDIA global president and CEO, said: “For the first time in CEDIA’s history, we are offering integrators a choice of benefit options that align with their needs.
“We’re particularly proud to offer a new Premium level – a great value for those who want to set themselves apart and invest in their team’s education.
“CEDIA has made significant investments in its membership and in the industry over recent years.
“These investments include critical advocacy work in governments around the world, a new CEDIA Member app, grassroots workforce development initiatives and campaigns to expand the industry’s awareness to consumers and adjacent trades.”
