CIE AV Solutions has announced details of a series of training events for installers focused on AV, security and custom installation.
Running from June to October 2017, the series of 1-day training courses exploring ‘IP Intercom Installation Essentials’ will begin in Nottingham before heading for Manchester, Birmingham and Bracknell.
The event will allow installers to get hands-on with the 2N range of IP connected intercom products and provide an in-depth look at how to specify, configure and install the latest intercom and control products over an IP network.
Each session will be led by a team of CIE and 2N specialists, who will demonstrate the full range of products and walk-through demonstrations, project analysis and configuration guidance.
CIE state that the training will provide each attendee with the knowledge needed to specify and install high quality intercom solutions as part of a fully-integrated building management or smart-building solution.
“Understanding IP solutions in security and AV is essential for the forward-thinking installer,” commented Chris Edwards, marketing director of CIE.
“This one-day course will equip attendees with the skills required to get make the most of the IP opportunity. There’ll be a special focus on our own 2N range of solutions and installers and engineers will be able to get hands on with the hardware and software to build practical skills.”
