Annelies Kampert has been appointed general manager of Crestron Europe.
Headquartered in Belgium, Crestron Europe is a fairly new entity of Crestron. “Up until the end of 2018, all Crestron activities in EMEA were handled by Future Vision Marketing,” explained Peter Ypsilantis, former interim general manager of Crestron Europe.
“Logistics, distribution, customer support and training are now fully managed by Crestron Europe, headquartered in Belgium, while Technological Innovations Group (TIG), evolved out of Future Vision Marketing, remains Crestron's exclusive sales agent in EMEA.
"We are committed to making sure that our customers all over the region receive the same great experience and high level of support they have come to know.”
As the interim general manager, Ypsilantis was temporarily transferred from the US office to oversee the launch of the new Crestron Europe entity.
Kampert commented on her new role: “When this opportunity came along, I grabbed it with both hands. Crestron is experiencing tremendous growth, and that means a lot is changing. I embrace the challenges that come along with it, and I’m confident that, together with the team, we will achieve great results.”
Kampert will lead the establishment of new Crestron Europe offices, first in the UK and then in Germany.
“In just a short period, I’ve grown to rely on her wise counsel,” said Ypsilantis. “I am convinced she will do a great job growing our business and ensuring that our customers and employees are well taken care of.”
