Crestron has announced its expansion into Norway with the opening of its first dedicated office and training facility in Fornebu, just west of Oslo.
The new office will be situated in Fornebu’s Technopolis district, an area which is currently being developed as a hub for technology and innovation for the region.
"It is an exciting time for the AV industry as business in Northern Europe gains further momentum, and as market leaders it is important for Crestron to have a strong presence here," said Robin van Meeuwen, CEO of Crestron EMEA.
Crestron Nordics will be fully equipped to provide programming and DigitalMedia training as well as courses on technology including DM NVX, AVIA audio, Crestron Studio for Residential Lifestyle and industry-related information.
Odd Arne Selmer, who has joined the Norwegian team as technical trainer, commented: "I’ve been working with Crestron products for many years and I’m looking forward to sharing my passion and proficiency of Crestron technology with the wider AV community here in Norway.”
