New upgrades, including web browsing capabilities, bring new level of simplicity and convenience. Crestron TSW touch screens just got an upgrade and they’ll be on display for the first time at Integrated Systems Europe 2014 in Amsterdam, 4th-6th February. The new TSW-552, TSW-752 and TSW-1052 improve upon the popular TSW-550, TSW-750, and TSW-1050 models with support for voice command recognition and on-screen web browsing, delivering even greater convenience and ease-of-use. “Now, you can press a button on the TSW touch screen and then issue voice commands like Play Alicia Keys’ and Watch Sky Sports’,” said Robin van Meeuwen, VP of Crestron International. “Plus with the on-screen web browser, you can check your favorite sites, read the news and more, all on the touch screen.” Control never looked so good TSW touch screens feature high-resolution graphics and vibrant colors that bring exclusive Smart Graphicsâ„¢ to life. The ultra-bright display, capacitive touch screen, H.264 streaming video and edge-to-edge glass provide a stunning interactive experience. Single-wire PoE connectivity and standard backbox mounting makes installation quick and easy. Each TSW touch screen is available in wall mount or tabletop models. The TSW family provides the high-performance control expected from Crestron, with the elegant design elements found in the latest mobile devices. Smart Graphics enable gesture navigation, swiping and kinetic effects such as knobs, sliders, gauges and scrolling lists common in smart phones and tablets. As a dedicated control interface, TSWs also feature five soft-touch buttons that provide quick access to commonly used functions. New big screen control The new TSD-2020 1080p display provides a capacitive 20" touch screen at 1080p resolution. It can sit on a table using the included table stand or be VESA mounted. Like the V24, it can be paired with a DGE-2 which can be installed up to 330 feet away, or a DVPHD digital video processor to provide up to eight simultaneous video windows. More mounting options ISE 2014 will also mark the introduction of several new mounting options for TSW touch screens, providing even more design flexibility for integrators: Universal Mounting Bracket (TSW-UMB) provides an easy in-wall mounting solution for TSW-550, TSW-552, TSW-750, TSW-752, TSW-1050 and TSW-1052 touch screens, as well as the new Crestron dock for iPad®. Its universal design simplifies specification, thereby reducing inventory and allowing the bracket to be installed even before the screen size has been selected. The TSW-UMB is designed for post-construction installation in existing drywall or paneling. It’s also suitable for use in a lectern. Retrofit Mounting Bracket (TSW-RMB) provides a simple retrofit mounting solution for replacing an existing Crestron touch screen with a new TSW-750, TSW-752, TSW-1050, or TSW-1052. It couldn’t be easier − no cutting or patching of walls is required. Trade-in and trade up For a limited time, customers can upgrade their existing Crestron touch screens to the latest TSW models at significant savings. Using the new Retrofit Mounting Bracket, installed systems can look brand new in just minutes.
