Designflow will use ISE 2020 to officially launch its new online Outsourced Design Shop in Europe.
Originally launched in the UK on Black Friday in November 2019, the new online shop allows system integrators to make quick online purchases of design services for entire projects or to fill gaps within project designs and documentation.
Designflow’s usual outsourced design services are also available to purchase on the web shop. The company has also decided to include its popular Site & Engineers Packs as bundles to simplify the buying process by only requiring the number of floors in the project from the integrator.
Alongside the launch of the Outsourced Design Shop, designflow is also adding two new bundles: The Cinema Site Pack and The Engineer’s Panel bundle.
The Cinema Site Pack provides the design and documentation required to install a cinema system with one to three rows of seats, with or without fabric walls and or acoustical treatment.
The Engineer’s Panel bundle gives a panel layout and schematics for items such as lighting, blind or control panels.
Also being created into a bundle is designflow’s Proposal service. This bundle combines options for a simple proposal, embellished and a full Gold, Silver, Bronze version. They can be bought in options of one, two or four proposals a month, or as a Pay As You Go option.
The launch of the Outsourced Design Shop at ISE follows findings from the CEDIA Size and Scope Report, where in the business sentiment section, it stated that the single biggest challenge facing integrators was found to be staff recruitment and retention. This is seen as twice the threat of DIY integration products.
Entrepreneur.com also reported that in the current economic climate, outsourcing is key to building rapid but stable growth. They suggested that the best practice is to outsource where specialised knowledge is lacking in-house but avoid outsourcing core competences.
Designflow will be promoting its new web shop at ISE on its booth 14-E125. Visitors can also get a first-hand experience of the company’s input into the CEDIA design documentation course which will be presented by Keith Jones, a designflow partner, at ISE on 13 February, 11:30-13:00.
