US integrator Acadian Home Theater & Automation deployed Snap One products over a 2,800 sq m outdoor space that includes a party pavilion, boat house, and guest house.
The mansion owner requested consistent music coverage with no dead zones and systems that were easy to manage and use throughout the outdoor compound.
As part of the 30-month-long project, Acadian Home Theater & Automation deployed dozens of Episode landscape speakers across the landscape, with surface- and ceiling-mounted models installed in balconies and covered patios.
Custom Control4 processors automate several exterior and fountain lights and SunBrite weatherproof TVs raise and lower on motorised lifts from Nexus21. Araknis outdoor Wi-Fi access points, roughly 50 Luma surveillance cameras, and Control4 processors were also installed.
Motorised screens provide protection from the sun and insects, forming a comfortable, enclosed area at the party pavilion for entertaining. The entrance to the property is supervised via the Control4 system. The homeowners can access the Control4 app on their mobile devices to cue music, move TVs into place, view real-time footage on surveillance cameras, open the gate, and turn on and off lighting. The outdoor Wi-Fi network ensures commands reach their intended destinations.
