Chord Electronics has been experiencing a period of strong growth and this continuing expansion has led to the appointment of Doug Graham, who will take the role of international sales, effective from 29 July.
Doug Graham is well-known in the industry and brings a wealth of experience, following three years as a salesman at Neat Acoustics, and before that, 26 years with Naim Audio.
During his time at Naim, Graham spent the first five years establishing the brand in the UK and the remainder dealing with world markets, managing a highly successful sales team to eventually achieve his appointment as sales director.
Commenting on his new role, Graham said: “Having spent the last 40 years in the Hi-Fi industry, to be offered a role in such an innovative, forward-thinking company is an opportunity that I simply couldn’t resist. Chord Electronics is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in audio replay and talking this innovative technology to a wider audience is a challenge that I’ll relish.”
He continued: “John Franks has assembled a team of talented individuals who understand not just the technology, but customer service and support in a competitive market place. They’ve earned their success and I’ll be contributing to the next stage in the company’s development; these are exciting times for sound.”
Graham’s appointment follows other recent additions including Robert Wong as business development manager and Maurice Tryner as UK sales manager. The expanding, four-strong sales team will be supporting the company’s commitment to its growing network of international distributors and dealers during an exciting time for the UK-based manufacturer.
