Paul Neville has been appointed as the new director of global engineering for HARMAN’s Luxury Audio division which is made up of five brands – ARCAM, JBL Synthesis, Lexicon, Mark Levinson, and Revel.

Bringing extensive experience in audio engineering, including a portfolio of award-winning designs and cutting-edge technologies, Neville will lead the engineering for ARCAM, JBL Luxury Electronics and JBL Synthesis.

“Paul is an outstanding addition to the team,” said Scott Campbell, Luxury Audio’s director of sales, global. “His knowledge of, and passion for, audio design, including his extensive experience with streaming platform-based technologies, makes him the perfect fit for the position of director of global engineering. I can’t wait to hear his ideas and, of course, his designs!”

Before joining HARMAN Luxury, Neville worked at Naim Audio for almost 16 years, most recently as research and development director. Under his R&D direction, the British brand successfully transitioned into the premium streamer category, claiming industry and consumer awards for its products.

“It is an honour to take up this position,” said Neville. “The opportunity to work with some of the world’s greatest audio brands was one to be grabbed with both hands. And, just as important as the marques are the people. HARMAN Luxury Audio is home to a team of incredibly talented people, and I look forward to leveraging their skills and experience.

“My passion for audio design encompasses the whole experience, from the initial idea to the engineering to the industrial design and the experience for the consumer. I aim to deliver on all fronts, and I am excited to start work on the next generation of Luxury Audio products.”
