Helvar has announced the appointment of Dan Wills to the position of Senior Strategic Product Manager for Lighting Controls. Dan is no stranger to the firm, having previously worked for Helvar for more than six years. He re-joins Helvar having spent time in roles with Havells Sylvania and the Wandsworth Group.
Paul Wilmshurst, Managing Director UK at Helvar says, “We are delighted to be welcoming Dan back to Helvar. Dan’s new role will be to develop and implement the global strategic product and marketing plan for the Lighting Controls Business Unit. The job will involve overseeing a small team, managing the product throughout its lifecycle, and working closely with R&D and others to deliver winning products that support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Dan says “I’m pleased to be coming back to Helvar in this new role at such an exciting time, with developments in the company and in the industry as a whole creating new challenges and opportunities. I hope to be able to hit the ground running and contribute to the team immediately.â€
