Hero Labs introduces new CEO to drive international growth

Hero Labs, the manufacturer of the award-winning Sonic smart leak defence and water management device, has announced Adam Williams as the company’s new CEO.

Succeeding Steve Moore when he retires at the end of the year, Williams joins the company having previously worked in the environmental space after gaining a degree in environmental management at university. He went on to develop a strong background in scaling operations and boosting revenues across multiple European markets while working for several large companies, including Samsung and Sony.

Williams has also been involved in the Smart Homes and Building Association for a long time, and his recent experience with scale-ups in the connected home space, including SmartThings, Lightwave RF and Mila, has ensured that he has the right balance of market knowledge and technical expertise to deliver the best results for Hero Labs and multinational investor WAVIN.

“The management of water usage is critically important for many, and Sonic has been welcomed in the multi-family space, as well as in various specialist sectors,” said Krystian Zajac, Hero Labs’ founder. “Hero Labs is now moving to large volume manufacturing to meet this demand, and will expand into multiple new territories, in partnership with WAVIN. Hero Labs is strengthening its team to best suit the needs and new priorities of its growing business, and Adam’s background makes him ideally suited for the CEO role. We are delighted to welcome Adam to the team.”

Williams added: “One of my passions is for smart technology that genuinely improves people’s lives so therefore I am thrilled to join Hero Labs. It’s a very exciting time for the business and I look forward to leading and developing it even further by continuing to delight our customers and partners.”
